Leftie's 1B Injures Ankle In Pick-Up Game With 8 Year Olds.
Southpaw's first basemen Mikey Palms landed on the DL this week
with an ankle injury sustained while playing a pick-up game with a
bunch of 8 year olds at the annual 2 Boots Crabfest Party. The oft-injured
Palms apparently sprained the ankle and will be unable to go against Southpaw's
arch-rivals the People this week at beautiful downtown Commodore Barry
Park. "I went too hard at Crabfest" said Palms of the injury. Leftie's
manager, Patty "Dooks" Fondiller, visibly irritated, refused comment.
